Mark Wiewel was an executive in the life insurance industry for 27 years. Since 2006, he has pedaled his recumbent bicycle thousands of miles and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for food pantries in Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri through his Bike for Food Pantries Project.
Mark is a widower and the father of five children. In 2016, Mark and his family made a resource video to help terminally ill patients and their families learn more about benefits of Blessing Hospice. He is a member of St. Peter Parish and active in Quincy Cursillo. He is also a volunteer at Blessing Hospital in the Chaplaincy and Hospice Departments. Mark currently serves on the Madonna House Board.
